The sun was warm on his face as Naruto laid on the school's roof, taking in the cool air. Winter wasn't far off, and so the school uniforms had already changed accordingly. It was becoming nothing more than a routine. Wake up, go to school, don't be late, go to the roof for lunch, back to classes and then home...Almost tiring.

A yawn escaped before he could stop it and he giggled lightly. "Oops..." A bird passed overhead, bringing a shadow across the stone-topped school, and Naruto could feel his eyelids getting heavy...

Sasuke opened the door that lead to the roof and paused when he saw his blond haired obsession laying on the roof. He cringed. Cursing lightly under his breath he moved onto the roof and sat down with the book he had been reading between classes and Lounged on the hard surface of the roof. His eyes darted from his book to Naruto and then back to his book. God he was being stupid...he should just TALK to natuto...but no....the perfect Uchiha sasuke couldn't talk to someone like naruto. He glared at his book. Fuck people and their expectations of him. Standing up he made his way over to the blond and sat down next to him. "If you fall asleep you'll miss class."

He had heard the door open, but didn't think much of it. There were a lot of people who came up to the roof. Naruto continued to lay silently..until he heard the voice. A voice that he shouldn't know too well...but could always recognize. His blue eyes snapped open with shock, looking up.
"S-sasuke?!" He stuttered, jumping into a sitting position and rightly smacking his head against Sasuke's chin. "Shit!"

He pulled his head back and gave Natuto a rather annoyed look before he shook his head and let his face relax. "Didn't know you were that scared of me...." His voice trailed off a frown comming to his lips. "....don't think i like that very much....hmmm...." His black eyes looked into Naruto's ocean blue ones and he smiled very very slightly. "If you want to sleep go ahead. I'll wake you up for class." He turned his attention back to his book and started reading again. He really just wanted to lay his head in Naruto's lap and fall asleep himself..but yeah. that was a no go. He was lucky enough no one else had followed him up here. Freaken fan club that he had. He sighed and desided that letting Naruto sleep was a good idea.

It had gone quiet. Naruto couldn't bring himself to look away, even as Sasuke had gone back to his book. The Uchiha's dark eyes..there was something about them that was hypnotizing. "W-what are you doing up here, Sasuke?" he asked, voice softer than he thought it would be. Naruto could feel his cheeks turn pink..

His eyes moved to look into Naruto's again as the blond began to talk. "......Wanted to get away from the fan girls...." He looked away from Naruto again letting his head fall forwards and his bangs hide his eyes. "I'm sick of people thinking i'm some sort of....Perfect person...I'm not. I wish i didn't have to hold that image for them." He chuckled but it sounded resentful. "Perfect Sasuke...can't date anyone even if he wants to." his eyes looked into naruto's again for a spit second before he looked to his book again. "Not that you'd understand anything about having to hide your true self from people....you can pretty much do whatever you want when you want it...and damn the rules......" His voice still held resentment but now towards Naruto. Why did HE get to be who he wanted but sasuke was stuck being the 'perfect prince' He hated it.

"Nobody's perfect." he said, eyes tilted down, as if he hid something. "I do actually know what you mean.." Naruto shook his head, forcing his mind to another place. His eyes fell on the book... "What're you reading, anyway?" It was always nice to learn more about Sasuke. About his crush...

Sasuke handed the book over to Naruto, the Cover read 'In the Thrill of the Night'. "It's a romance novel." he shrugged but didn't mention the fact there were two guys on the cover.

A romance novel? That didn't sound like Sasuke at all. Leaning forward, Naruto put his hand to Sasuke's forehead, judging the temperature. "Are you alright? Do you need to see the nurse?" He had noticed the cover, but hadn't said anything. Maybe it was a trick on his eyes..He couldn't imagine Sasuke as liking two guys together. But the more Naruto thought about it..the more his thoughts ran wild.

Naruto shook his head again, looking to his dream's onyx eyes, waiting for his answer..If Sasuke was sick, that'd be the downfall of the day..

He gave Naruto an odd look "No i'm fine. I enjoy reading romance novels..." He shrugged and Looked naruto in the eyes again and gave him a rather sexy smirk. "Supriesed you didn't run when you looked at the cover. Thought you'd freak out. It's a book about two guys who fall in love...and trust me...there's lots of sex between them." He put his hand over the one that naruto had on the book and slipped the book out of Naruto's hand before he turned back to the page he had been on. "Do you read anything interesting?"

His face was hot from the casual touch, the smirk..Naruto barely caught the question and stuttered as he answered. "I-I don't mind about two guys...a-and I don't really read much. Mostly just s-stuff about mythology and fiction.." Why couldn't he keep calm around Sasuke? He was such a jerk!! "A sexy jerk.." Naruto muttered to himself. Hopefully he was quiet enough so that Sasuke hadn't heard. Oh, if he had...The embarrassment would probably kill him..

Heard Naruto mutter something about a sexy jerk and leaned forwards slightly his face inches from naruto's that smirk that he had on his face growing wider. "You think I'm sexy?" He tilted his head to the side slightly before leaned forwards and kissing Naruto on the lips gently before pulling away and standing up. He dropped his romance novel on the ground next to Naruto and walked towards the door that lead off of the roof. "It's a good book. Read it. If you like it i have the next in the series at home." he Shruged and opened the door before turning and giving Naruto another smirk. "You're cute. For a scaredy cat.."

Bright red, Naruto stood quickly, picking up the book and yelling after Sasuke. "I'm not a scaredy cat, Uchiha!"

Once the door was shut, he looked at the book..A book from Sasuke. Naruto pulled the novel close to him and held it against his chest. The cover was still slightly warm from Sasuke's hand, and Naruto..couldn't be happier. Hearing the bell, the blond started to panic and quickly followed the Uchiha's steps down to his next class.
