The Rules

The Main Rules:

1. Respect the Admins and Mods. What they say goes and what the Admin (AKA Kurai) says out ranks any one else's on the site.
2. Respect everyone. Nobody likes a rude person who doesn't respect them as a person. If someone is uncomfortable doing something in an rp and ask nicely to stop it, then be mature and stop it.
3. Swearing is allowed but be realistic. if you don't swear like that in real life then don't make your character swear like it.
4. Absolutely no God-modding. If I see this done You will get a warning, everyone can see the warnings.
5. When you are posting In Character, use proper symbols and typing. No *, or ~, or + signs are allowed. Do people talk like that? No. Then should you RP like that? No.
6. Do not post your rpc anywhere but the Profile Outline board until your rpc is accepted I will delete it and send you a warning if it happens at least 3 times. Only I have the power to approved profiles. You may post in the OOC boards until then.
7. If you feel the need to argue with another member, alright. But please, keep it to PM's. I don't want to see a bunch of Out Of Character nonsense going on. If your character happens to be fighting with someone, go you. That is perfectly fine, but keep it realistic.
8. Realistic, Realistic, Realistic. You have no idea the wonders of some peoples minds. Their characters can get pregnant, have an affair, get an abortion, set their hair on fire, fall in love, and break up, bot NOT all in the same day. Also no falling in love five post after your character meets someone. Does that happen in real life? no. Your character can get a crush but please wait at least a week or two in rp time with the character before saying its love. crushes come and go all the time.
9. Make your Character Real. I hate Mary-Sues/Gary-Stus. They are annoying, and unrealistic. You won't be accepted if you try and apply with one, so please, give your character some flaws! to see if your character is a mary-sue/gary-stus then check here: http://www.springhole.net/quizzes/marysue.htm
10. Only two characters per account and if you want to play more, go ahead, but make separate accounts for them. (And don't stretch yourself too thin) Your first character must have at least 100 RP posts before you apply for a second one. Unless the admin gives you permission to make one before you get the posts.
11. Do not carry on Out of Character (OOC) conversations in RP areas. If you feel it is absolutely necessary to make an OOC comment, do it with ((this)). any time else keep it in pm's, cbox, or a post on the general board.
12.To prove to me that you've read these rules, please place these smilies at the end of your character's profile.
13.Please change your display name to your character's first and last name. You can do this in your profile.
14.Please try to keep things 'PG-13' in the RP. If a thread has mature content, it will be moved to the Mature Content Section as long as it is only writing without accompanying images. If it has pictures it will get deleted.
- Also DO NOT rp Mature content (sexual rps, detailed torture scenes, or anything like that) outside of the bedroom section.
- DO NOT assume that it will be moved just because it has mature content in it, if the staff doesn't know to move it then it won't get moved and you and whoever else will get a warning. There are kids on here, which I can't stop them from joining but I can just try to protect them from the stuff.
- If nobody is on to give the password (meaning threw PM or outside source only) then don't rp it out in the thread just don't rp it out at all. PM a staff member for the password.
15. This is a Semi-Literate & up role play. I know nobody is perfect with spelling & grammar but there is a spell check button on the replay page, please use it if you aren't sure of the spelling of a word.
16. Fire, Blood lost, Drug OD, & beheading kills all. I don't care what your character is but these things will kill it. Same goes for getting hit in the heart or lungs.
17. try to keep your character in only 3 places at once please. so your character can only be in 3 different rp threads here. try not to go over 4 unless its a life or death thing. If your character is having Mature content then it gets posted in the bedrooms despite if you already have the same character there with a different person. if it is the same person then don't role play it out if you are still rping in the bedrooms.
18. No one liners please. this isn't really a rule more of a suggestion since I a lot of times can't post anything more than one line. but please try to not use one liners. include thoughts, actions, describe where they are, what they are wearing. At least give a Paragraph post to people, so 4 or 5 sentences. Posts can be longer and people can ask a person to add more detail to the thread if there isn't enough detail to make a good reply.
19. You Must post once or more a week. There are ONLY TWO ways around it is to post that you are away or leaving on the ..::Away/Leaving::.. board saying that you will be away or leaving the site. This is to keep the site active. Also post on the Away/Leaving board if you aren't gonna have much time on the computer for a while and can rarely get on.
20.Have Fun

Warning System:

1st offense - Warning through PM & warning bar
2nd offense - Warning through PM and 1 day ban, this will happen if you get the warning bar to 30.
3rd offense - 1 week ban with notification letter, this will happen if you get the warning bar half way full.
4th offense - Automatic removal from site , this will happen if you get the warning bar all the way full.

Each rule broken will get ya 5 or 10 in the warning bar each time.
